The color of the thought Oil on canvas 50x70 (1998) Sarossa show N. 2

Comment by Floriana D'Auria

Life incarnated in a woman without color. If the races of man stay apart and fight for their incommunicability, for their cultural difference, what color may have the thought? Sarossa goes over the symbolism, thundering that reality is all symbol and the symbol is inside the reality. In his landscape he takes as least comun denominator of his painting always new themes of actuality in new ways. The image doesn't impress only to visual level, but wants to fascinate, to strike the observer in the depth provoking a sense of disconcertment. The colors are not the translation of the natural reality but revive filtered in the affective caledoscopio of the artist to assume a meaning that goes over all the pre-arranged schemes, over the barriers of time race or languages to speak an universal language of harmony
